Ayers & Associates, Inc. has provided a broad range of consulting services to colleges, universities, foundations, and other education-related organizations. A representative list of assignments appears below.

	Conducted research to facilitate establishment of a $1 billion scholarship fund for students from diverse racial/ethnic groups which was the most significant philanthropic contribution to higher education in U.S. history.
	Conducted research and developed the platform for a 9-11 scholarship fund established by a higher education association.
	Conducted a multi-year study on alumni giving for a foundation, culminating in the publication of a guide for historically black colleges and universities (HBCU's).
	Conduct a study on institutional advancement for a foundation which resulted in an $18 million grant program to build the capacity of HBCUs.
	Assisted a Carnegie-classified research university with leadership and board evaluation.
	Assisted two state universities with conducting organizational analyses to improve administrative efficiency and effectiveness.
	Assisted a small private college with refining its organizational structure, functional roles, and relevant policies and procedures under new leadership.
	Evaluated a women’s leadership program and other initiatives funded by a notable foundation.
	Provided executive search services to multiple universities which resulted in the appointments of new presidents or chancellors, provosts/chief academic officers, and other key administrators.
	Provided executive search services to selected universities, leading to the appointments of chief diversity officers.
	Successfully completed an executive search for the CEO/president of a professional organization.
	Provided an interim management team for a large state university during a time of significant financial crises.
	Advised a Carnegie-classified research university on development of its 10-year strategic plan.
